Thank you so much for a fantastic read! So many things I loved about your story. Merlin being the famous and rich one, for a change. The parallel between Merlin - unknowningly - saving Arthur and then Arthur saving Merlin, both with their voices. The way they are both attracted to each other from the get go but things gradually get deeper between them. Arthur gifting Merlin that guitar put tears into my eyes. I think you wrote the moment Merlin takes the instrument into his hands perfectly. I was able to feel him connecting again with that part of his life, that part of him. Having them having their first time right after this moment was very right for me, quite perfect. Finally, I loved that they were both damaged in their own ways, imperfect, but perfect for each others, and that Merlin helped Arthur as much as Arthur helped him through.
Your comment has put the biggest damn smile on my face! Thanks for taking the time to read and leave such thoughtful feedback. I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed the parallels between the boys. Writing the moment Merlin held the guitar again was one of my favourite scenes to write. I'm glad that came across well :) ♥
I'm not very good at feedback in a non-beta-y way, but. I looove this, love it. It's all so real, how vulnerable but stubborn Merlin is and how broken but mending and strong Arthur is. Poor boys!
Oh, this was just wonderful! Especially your Arthur - I absolute loved your Arthur, strong and vulnerable at the same moment and still able to care despite everything that happened to him. And I love your portrayal of Merlin the professional musician and how he deals with the industry (and the industry with him).
Thanks for the wonderful feeback :) I'm happy to hear you enjoyed Arthur's character, I think his personality is so much fun to write for, brave and strong but breakable too. ♥
That was...amazing and beautifull and so vey touching in all the best places. Merlin's pain and his lack of ability to cope just broke my heart and then Arthur comes along and it's just so bloody perfect. Thank you!
