“Hot linking” lets you use the linking codes that Photobucket provides to link media from another user’s Photobucket account, not yours, to other web pages, in emails, on auction websites, etc. When you link to media in another user’s Photobucket account, it uses bandwidth resources allocated to that Photobucket account."

I don't like to tag across their faces either, it indeed ruins the pic, and I won't do it on pics I find at places where everybody can find them - like daylife etc. - because I don't own those pics anyway. But screencaps and animations will be tagged. These girls don't get it, don't care or are simply too lazy.

I realised that a lot of people might not even know that they're actually hotlinking, that's why I put the explanation up there.
You don't comment here very often, but you have plenty of comments to your name, so you're an active LJ-user and not an overall lurker. I'm wary of people who don't post and don't comment, because many of them are just here for the pics, so they can snag them and post them elsewhere.

I really feel bad that some people are doing this to you!

Meh, I'm having quite a lot of fun replacing the pics they've linked to with nasty little graphics that display what they are: nasty little thiefs, muhaha.

That was clever! To replace the pics with embarrassing graphics is awesome. I cannot understand why the twits would not just save the pics to their own files instead of doing the hotlinking shit. It's just so stupid.

SO ANNOYING.
And when it's a member, it's even more disappointing.
*hugs*
