The first two lines are wonderful. Reminds me of a line by T.S. Eliot "In the room/ the women come and go/ talking of Michaelangelo" You call me a bat but you're seeing in the dark yourself. Poetry is just a vehicle for us to taste the world a little better. I've been blasting Bob Dylan and Nick Drake as of late and being reminded of you which makes me a little sad because as stated in previous entry I miss you terribly. I am sure you are having wonderful experiences and eating goddamn delicious food. Yum. Eat a lot of paella for me will you? Even if it does have chicken in it. It's saturday night and I'm reading a book and burning incense and being all antisocial. makes me warm and fuzzy inside. xoxo

by the way, i watched "Talk to Her" last nigth. Really fabulous movie. I think you've seen it but if you haven't it involves a really small man crawling about in a really large vagina. brilliant. oh wait, you have seen it because it has that one song in it which is really really good. The one where they're at a dinner party. And it makes me want to cry. and I guess the same director did "All About My Mother"? It was an enlightening experience all the same.

Thank you (2) for being so generous and open with your comments.
Ms. Pappilonmuse, did you notice that basically every shot of "Talk to Her," makes a beautiful photograph? I love that movie. I´ve seen so many times I feel like I know the characters. I don´t even have to enjoy the plot, the characters, I can just sit back and enjoy the aesthetics. It´s one of my favorite movies. "La culpa fue mía," atop my web page comes from one of Marco´s lines in the movie. The music just destroys me too. More power to Bob Dylan. My, my, my, do I love "Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands." I think it´s my favorite love song ever written. That doesn´t say much, because I probably like less than a handfull. Oh shit, "Visions of Johanna," too. Never mind. I like a lot of Bob Dylan´s love songs. Have you seen all "All about my Mother,"? It´s incredible too.

I really liked what you wrote about the shadows creeping. I´m glad that you feel comfortable enough to write poetry on the website. (Accent of Liverpool) Thanks very much. (Normal Speaking voice, or perhaps not?) How many Kamonos did you end up packing? What´s a K-Baad? I´ve been singing "Cucurrucucu Paloma" a little bit, and a friend of mine here wants to record me. They have no idea who they´re missing ;)
