"Miho...it is Ardeth. I have something for you." Ardeth's tone is tense, but warms considerably for a moment on the second sentence.

"I also just discovered about the attack on Sugar...I will be going down to the clinic later. I heard faint rumor that something supernatural is involved...in which case I may have information useful in dealing with this matter. Come by if you wish, or I will visit the Sin after the clinic."

He leaves his room and telephone number (110, 555-MAAT).

Miho listened to the phone message and frowned grimly in determination.

The fact that one of her girls had been attacked, and she hadn't been there to prevent it irked her deeply.

Eyebrows tight in anger, she picked up the phone and dialed, leaving the brief message.

"Cafe. Now."

Erm...there's been some sort of rooming mix-up, and I am suddenly sharing my room with a strange woman. Miss George Lass? Needless to say I am giving her run of the place until this is sorted; I will have this...pocket-telephone device on me, but will be spending most of my time at the stables.

I...very much want to see you again. I've a gift for you, and some information that I believe you will find very useful in a place like this. And I've a list of safety measures I can suggest for the sake of those in your charge. It seems we've become comrades-in-arms after all.

Miho considered, then went to get Goldie, whom, giggling slightly, dialed back Ardeth.

"Hi, this is Goldie calling on behalf of Miho. Boss lady says to, well not say so much as, ow!" Miho had poked her in the side and a burst of giggled could be heard, "She says to be here at seven tonight."
