So my Mom calls me today, don't ya love those stories, and we talk as usual. Do you need money, how is campus, and what not. I ask her about an email and she told me that she had only got one bill form the school for summer and she payed it. Has the returned check to prove it. Heh, this sounds just like the story of my life since I got here, only a year ahead. Everything starts out as a "worry for my safety" speech and turns into a "do you even have priorities or decision-making skills?" speech. Nice to know I'm not alone, but it sucks all the same for the both of us.

All I know is I would *not* be happier if I'd stayed at home because they would have had me living in their house, hired at the job they liked, and yelling at me every time I don't like the perfect little Christian boy they adore. Not to mention the fact that all the good friends I have now, I never would have even met...
