[DRABBLE] Another Letter
He just finished his shift for today. Talking non-stop was tiring and he tried to smile to everyone he meets. But the pain still remained.
He hadn’t moved on from him.
He just read articles about him, winning constantly in award shows and having his time of his life as a free man.
For Heechul, Hangeng has the best things in life for now.
He lit up a cigarette even though he had announced that he stopped. Nobody would linger most about that Chinese guy than him. He thought that being close to him was a waste of time. He was scared to even make new friends to actually get close because, for him, they will eventually leave.
While he was finishing his smoke, an officer came to him. They greeted each other formally. Afterwards, the official gave him a piece of white envelope and told him that it’s supposed to be a secret.
Once the officer was gone, Heechul tore the envelope and read the letter inside.
“Happy New Year! I’m sorry it’s a month late, but, hey, I still gave this anyway. I hope Heebum is doing good and please be yourself. Don’t be stressed about those comments about you having special treatments. Only those trustworthy people know why you’re a DJ even at the military. I’ll still keep in touch, but I’m trying to find a way so that they won’t catch us. I love you, Heenim!”
