It makes me all teary eyed because of this metaphorical wall between them but, at the same time...it's comforting because they're still close, even when apart (well, that's how I want to see it anyway! :D).

I love the contrast between the lush background of Peter's room and the bare one of Carl's side...it makes it all the more poignant.
Great picture, as always. You have a real talent for expressing so much with subtle simplicity. Just brilliant! ^__^

Awh that was such a nice comment *_* You totally got exactly what I was trying to show with Carl's bare background compared to Peter's and the metaphorical wall/fault line. They are still close ;) It's nice when people notice the little details becuase I kinda put a lot of thought into everything I draw and pretty much everything has a reason for being/not being there!

Hehe thank you *_* I think drawing kinda make me fall in love with Carlos even more. He was always secondary to Peter for me. But that is definitely no longer the case.
