“ AAAAHHHH ! “
Koyama was rolling on the floor .
Shige was banging his fist on the table .
Pi was holding his stomach .
Ryo was jumping up and down .
They were all laughing so hard at Tegoshi’s very scared reaction .
Massu was still trying his best to hold in his about-to-burst-laughing-fit .
The 5 of them had planned on scaring Tegoshi off since it was Halloween .
And Tegoshi HATED Halloween .

When Tegoshi closed the door to the NEWS dressing room , the lights went off .
“ bikurishita ~ “ Tegoshi sighed as he searched for the light switch .
When he managed to flick the switch on , an ice-cold hand touched his shoulders .
“ come on guys . . . “ Tegoshi stated smugly , though his insides were doing cartwheels and his heart was going faster than a car in a freeway .
“ stop it . you guys know I hate bei - “ he turned around and never got to finish his sentence as he was already screaming at the top of his lungs .
It wasn’t a member of NEWS that he saw . It was someone wearing a really white lab-gown , and really long hair that covered his or her face . The hand that was touching him was rather , scarred and bloody and Tegoshi really hated that sight .
He ran to the corner , covered his face and just kept on screaming .
He stopped when he heard the other members laughing .
He looked up , eyes full of tears , to see his friends , faces red from too much laughing . Ryo was even crying out of sheer happiness .
The person in the costume slowly made its way towards Tegoshi , and Tegoshi started squirming again , as if he was being attacked by a killer .
It dropped on its knees , and its face slowly inched its way towards Tegoshi’s .
Tegoshi was about to cry , when the person pulled the wig off .
“ FUJIGAYA TAISUKE ! “ Tegoshi got up and pushed a laughing Fujigaya to the wall .
The other members were still laughing as they pulled Tegoshi off Fujigaya .
“ He has nothing to do with this Tegoshi . We just asked him to put the costume on . “ Pi said in between giggles .
Tegoshi’s face was very white . He seriously got frightened to the extent that he almost fainted .

Tears welled up in Tegoshi’s eyes .
Koyama , being the mother-figure in the group , stepped up and hugged Tegoshi .
He was grinning at the other members while giving them winks and doing a thumbs-up action .
Tegoshi did not let go not until the fright went away .
“ Ne Tegoshi , you’re still a scardy-cat aren’t you ? “ Ryo asked mockingly . He really enjoyed bullying other members . Besides Shige , Tegoshi was his 2nd favorite .
“ Oh , shut up . “ Tegoshi answered , not bothering to look up from his curled-up position on the couch .
“ I bet you’re afraid to go home alone . The streets are full of people looking like Fujigaya a while ago . . . “ Shige stated . He received a high five from Ryo , and a glare from Tegoshi .
“ alright , alright . That’s enough everyone . Shige , get up . We still have a movie to watch , and we’re gonna be late . “ Koyama pulled Shige off the couch and geared him towards the door .
“ Bye everyone . And Ryo , no more pranks on Tegoshi . “ Koyama stated before closing the door .
“ yeeees mamaaaa ~ “ Ryo shouted back .
Pi smacked him on the head . “ We have to get going too . We promised Chinen we’d take him to that horror booth thing with Yamada . Get up . “
“ Oi , Massu , Tegoshi , wanna come with us ? We’re going to that new Haunted House at Shibuya . Yamada and Chinen are going and - “ Ryo was cut halfway through .
“ No . Not going . “ Tegoshi answered as he hugged his knees tighter .
“ How about you Massu ? “ Pi asked .
“ uhm , I think I’ll just stay with Tegoshi for now . Maybe he’ll faint on the way out . The juniors are having fun with a lot of costumes outside . “ Massu answered back
“ Suit yourselves . Come on , Pi . “ Ryo headed for the door .
“ Ah ! Tegoshi behind you ! “ he pointed , looking alarmed .
Tegoshi jumped off the couch and landed on Massu , clutching his shirt tightly .
Ryo and Pi started laughing , and ran for the door before Tegoshi could make it across the room .
“ I really hate Halloween . . . “ Tegoshi stated as he picked his bag up .
“ ne Massu , let’s go . I don’t want to be out late tonight . It’s creepy . “
Massu obediently followed the scared little princess .

As they stepped out of the room , the corridor was deserted .
They went down a floor , it was also as quiet .
In fact , the entire Jimusho building was eerily quiet .
Tegoshi got hold of Massu’s arm , and held on tight as they made their way towards the stairs . He didn’t want to use the elevator because he said it was scary .
Then the lights went out .
Tegoshi was now hugging Massu .
“ Tegoshi , can you wait for a while ? I know the storage room is around here somewhere . . . Johnny-san keeps a lot of flashlights there . “ Massu moved Tegoshi towards the wall .
Tegoshi let Massu go , and quickly took out his phone .
“ Massu , please hurry back . I really don’t like being alone here . “ he said shakily .
As Massu turned around the corner , the emergency lights went on . It lit the corridors with an eerie orange-like color . It freaked Tegoshi out . A lot .
“ Massu ! Massu , where are you ? “ he kept his back to the wall as he made his way to the corner where Massu went .
When he managed to round the corner , someone , or something , was at the corridor , facing Tegoshi .
Tegoshi’s heart skipped a beat and he immediately went back a few steps , but there were also a few of these “ ghosts “ on the other side .
He ran with all his might , the “ ghosts “ right behind him . Everywhere he turned , there was bound to be something waiting for him .
He ran screaming for Massu . But no answer came . He reached the elevator and pressed the button . The moment the elevator doors opened , he ran back , screaming louder than before . There was a bloody person inside and he did not want to do anything with that .
He ran down the stairs , but there seemed to be more and more of them coming out of nowhere .
By the time he reached the 1st floor , he was blinded by tears . He was really scared now , and he could not think clearly .
All he wanted to do was get out of the building . But he was not going to do so without Massu .
( The thing is with Tegoshi , if he gets scared , he gets paranoid . As is his situation at the moment . )
He was at the end of the west side of the building . He ran fast and reached the main doors of the Jimusho . The only thing was , it was chained and locked . He could not get out .
“ alright . think Tegoshi . Think ! “ he told himself .
But he couldn’t at the moment . He heard the low murmurs of the said “ghosts” and he saw the shadows . They were coming . He was freaking out . And Massu wasn’t there .
Massu .
Tegoshi ran again , to the other end of the building . He shouted Massu’s name again and again with hopes of finding him between the chase that was happening .
The “ghosts” were catching up , and Tegoshi was slowing down . He was tired . But he had to run .
Tegoshi looked back as he ran . The “ghosts” were a good 5-steps away from him. And the one leading them looked really scary .
He screamed and ran with his eyes closed .
He freaked out (again) when strong arms got hold of him .

“ Got You . “ Massu whispered to Tegoshi’s ear .
Tegoshi looked up . It was Massu . He clinged onto Massu as if he was his life .
“ Massu . Please don’t let me go . Please . Don’t leave me alone . “ Tegoshi sobbed . He was shaking under Massu’s hug . But at the very least , he felt safe .
“ I know . I won’t ever let you go Tesshi . Even when Halloween’s over . “ Massu hugged Tegoshi tighter and let his little princess cry all the fright out .
Tegoshi wasnt afraid anymore , but he still didn’t let go of Massu . He liked the way he fit perfectly in Massu’s arms . He didn’t care if the “ghosts” were still behind him . He liked it there .
The Juniors took off the very itchy costumes , and made silent cheering at the back . Koyama , Shige , Pi and Ryo took off their costumes , looked at Massu and Tegoshi , smiled , then silently ran to their dressing rooms before Tegoshi could unleash his evil on them .
Everything was Massu’s plan of course . And it worked perfectly .
