Another day around the theme park; the same dress, the same routines, the same lunch bento, but at least new people to meet and new faces to paint a smile on. Tegoshi had always wanted to work in an amusement park, but when Ryo told him that Disneyland was hiring new people, he wasn’t expecting this.
Putting on the dress was always a pain, and the shoes were a bit big on him. But at least he looked good with the wig. Nobody would ever expect Cinderella to be a guy.
Yup, when he got accepted in Disneyland, he never expected to be Cinderella.
“You look dashing, as always, milady.” Ryo said and bowed in a princely manner as he opened the door of Tegoshi’s dressing room.
Tegoshi threw him one of his ‘glass-slippers’.
“But it’s not midnight yet~” Ryo teased.
“Shut up and give me my bento. You lucky bastard, you get to work in the store while I’m stuck here playing dress-up.”
Ryo laughed at Tegoshi’s exasperated face. “But at least you make little kids smile. Isn’t this what you’ve always wanted?”
“Making kids happy? Yes. Having to dress up as a Princess? Are you kidding me?!”
“At least you look pretty. You give Cinderella’s character justice.”
“I hate you.”
“I love you too.”

11:00 am, and the parade of Disney characters started. Being one of the Disney Princesses - and the prettiest in that matter- Tegoshi was on top of a carriage float, waving happily to the tourists and the little children watching.
Even though it wasn’t exactly what he wanted, he did enjoy his job while he was at it.
After the parade, Tegoshi made his way to the palace, where little children and other guests could take pictures of him and make him sign their little autograph books.
Walking in a dress like a real princess was hard. Walking in a dress like a real princess in 3-inched ‘glass-slippers’ that were a size bigger on him was harder. And having to walk up a flight of stairs in a dress like a real princess in 3-inched glass-slippers that were a size bigger on him was indeed, the hardest.
He was already half-way through when suddenly his right shoe fell-off.
“Oh great” Tegoshi sighed.
He turned around ready to pick his shoe up when a guy, just around his age, picked it up for him.
“Here, let me help” he said while kneeling down on one knee and holding the shoe up.
Tegoshi looked down on him in total awe.
A crowd started to gather around the couple and started taking pictures.
The stranger looked up when Cinderella didn’t move.
“Woah” he expressed as he stared at Cinderella’s face.
As he met the strangers’ eyes, Tegoshi felt himself blushing.
‘what the hell is this guy doing.’ He thought to himself.
They stayed there, staring at each other, frozen for a few seconds when a little girl from the crowd said out loud:
“Your Prince is here!”
Realizing that they were gathering more and more people around, Tegoshi started to move his foot. The stranger took a hold of his ankle and started to fit the slipper properly onto his foot.
As he stood up, the crowd started to cheer.
“Thank You, uh -“ Tegoshi exclaimed.
“Masuda. But you can call me Prince Charming.” Massu said as he smiled and held out his hand to a very red Tegoshi.
“Massu.” Tegoshi said, taking Massu’s hand.
The crowd started to cheer louder.
“And, you are?” Massu asked, eager to know this persons’ name.
“I’m - Cinderella”
And the clock struck 12.
