Good news: Someone Up There took my earlier post literally and arranged it so that I got to come home from work early today.

Ugh. *hugses*

BTW, I don't know how much LJ-ing you've done before this new account, but you should note that if a journal entry is public, that really does mean public -- anyone could surf in and read. If you've got sensitive stuff, you might want to set it to "protected", so only people on your friends-list can read it...

I read your email... Will get back to you sooner or later...

I had an LJ for a long time, and quit posting to it about a year ago; I hadn't changed it from public yet because 1.) I don't have anything really sensitive in here yet and 2.) I've been too lazy to do so. I will eventually, I'm sure.

~snug~ No hurry on a reply to the email. It's kind of long....

Eh, I'm pretty paranoid about saying anything about employment or sex. Don't want people from my workplace being able to waltz in and see what I think of them, or to decide that I'm somehow a liability to the organization because of my loose morals. *g*

(Actually, I was turned down for a job once for reasons like that, in college. Not that I could prove, but it was pretty clear what happened was somebody else on the staff had heard rumors and put them in the ear of the person responsible for hiring.)

Now that you mention it, those are good reasons for privacy. And I've taken them to heart and changed it to friends-only, so from here on out, conversation is private.

Protection for both of us. :)
