Man, if you don't release the softsub yourself, what do you expect? Just a line (or two) at the end when the credits start rolling (and at the start with the title if you wish) with your name and site does the trick. Ofc ppl can go around removing them and claiming the sub their own, but in my experience of seeing fansubs being reposted, that rarely happens. Ppl just want the subs. If you stick your name within the SRT it'll most probably stay there as the file passes around. That's how I found out about a lot of fansub groups, since you RARELY know about someone's personal site from the start
