Suda just released his new song recently, Kiss Dake De featuring Aimyon. Since the first time I listened, I fall for this song. Hard. When I looked up the meaning behind, I fall harder. It's a simple story with simple background.

I really love how instead, Suda sings the woman point of view--of her insecurities of whether she is loved or not on her period days, because her partner might doesn't want to sleep with her. On the other hand, Aimyon's part is the male point of view, want to say he does love her but doesn't want to hurt. As someone who was born and raised in Asia with heavy "sex is sacral" culture, this somehow hits me hard. We tend to interpret sex as way to convey our love, and when we are not getting any, we end up questioning is the love still there, or to the extreme way, our own existence--are we still matter?

Suda also said Aimyon wrote this right away on the night when he shared his love story to her. And they released this exactly how they sang that night. This song only makes me want to buy Suda's upcoming album, LOVE. He is one of my top favorites, yet I only have one single of him since he started his music career :(
