First post in year 2022! Happy New Year, everyone! May this year we all could be happier than we were in 2021!
As what I write in the title, this post would be a word-vomit for Naniwa Danshi.
I am sooooo glad they finally can made their debut!! I am not sure if I posted this here before, but I really like them since they (Daigo and Ryusei) were still Kin Kan & Naniwa Ouji. I was really heart-broken when I learnt Toma left the agency, and again when Sho and Ren moved to Tokyo. I had a phase when I couldn't even follow their activities as I was too sad, especially when Naniwa Danshi lineup was annouced and Koji wasn't in the group. I also remember I couldn't even happy when Kinpuri made their debut.
[Confession]Confession: I once blamed Kaito for stealing Sho and Ren from my Kanju babies back then, but... guess what. Karma does exist and my current favorite member from King & Prince is him.
I finally can sorted my feelings around 2019 when Koji was officially joined Snow Man (and I can start listen to Kinpuri's songs and watch their stuufs), and fully back supporting the boys (Naniwa Danshi and Kanju) after Snow Man debut by spending the whole of my 2020 with watch and purchase every live streaming they did (RIP money). That time I made a promise to myself: if Naniwa Danshi can debut, I will do everything I can do for them.
2021. They started with a new year concert, a tour follow, debut announcement after, and finally released a CD debut. A year full of tears.
I am a fan of all three Kansai groups; but my history with the two senpais are quite different.
As for Kanjani8, I only got to know them when they were already 7. Even though I came to like Uchi very much after I learnt about their history (and really wanted that Puzzle April fools joke to be happen for real), but I cannot do anything about it.
Johnny's WEST. Got to know them from their Kanju era, but not that long because right after that it was their debut. The only struggling part was when the 4-3 thing, which I am also super glad the four can convinced the high-ups and Johnny-san to have the three debut with them.
But Naniwa Danshi... I was even there (not physically of course, lol) when 2014 audition happened that brought Micchi, Kyohei, and Kento in. I was really attached to the six MaiJani lineup and hoped with all my might they could debut together. Remember that episode when they read letters to Johnny's WEST? They promised that the next time they'd cry it is when they make their debut.
And things happened. March 2015 Toma left. Around early 2015 if I remember correctly, I got a ticket for WEST's Paripipo concert on May and I was really looking forward to see not only WEST, but also the six. And yet no Toma. No Sho and Ren (they backed Sexy Zone's concert that period). No Ryusei (I guess that time he was busy with school?). Only Daigo and Koji.
(Funny story, it was a 360 degrees stage concert and Kamichan was nowhere near me throughout the concert, but I had Daigo in front of me, like literally in front of me the whole time; which led me to love him even more.)
And past 2015 no longer units. Until Tacchon and Yoko lend a hand to help Kanju up.
Which is why, their debut is really something for me. The attachment is real. It really feels like I am sending my first born to their first day of school. Too overwhelmed. I am super incredibly happy. Thank you, Ohkura PD. I could never thank you enough for this.
And yeah, I bought all five version of Ubu Love; which I never did with any of Jonny's releases before (buy all version of a release). The funniest part is, the amount of CDs I purchase of all three Kansai groups.
All Kanjani8's CDs I have
Johnny's WEST's releases I purchased in year 2021 only
Naniwa Danshi's debut CDs I bought
I liked Eito since I was in high school, which is actually understandable as I had no money back then to purchase their CDs (and if I do, I chose to buy flumpool's haha), thus I only bought those that I really like.
Johnny's WEST... I don't have any copies of their early releases, as I was still in college and my money went to (flumpool again, or) visiting them in Japan directly. But after I graduated and working, I bought almost all.
Naniwa Danshi... maybe this is why I had to wait until 2021. I am now a stable grown-up working adult, and I can feed them all I want XD
Anyway, I think I should update my intro soon. It's so old, I don't even have JO1 (and INI) written there! And I need to find any Daigo pics I can use for userpic here. I just realised I have none (which is why the one for this is Kamichan instead).
Really look forward to their activities in 2022! My wallet and bank account are all ready!!!!!!!
