"Truncated pendiculation" seems like something either of those comics would have said. The authors of both were quite the word-smiths when they wanted to be... and it seems you are as well. :) Kind of envy being that verbally gifted.

BTW, your post made me smile and hope to one day see that war as an extra feature on the Star Trek DVD.
