Hello all you lovely people! I've been a rare sight on Livejournal lately. I miss everyone, but real life does take precedence. Here's what's been going on in my world
( Read more... )
Glad to hear you got the job you wanted! Hope you're able to transfer to that exclusively soon, and leave the not-so-good one. Also hope you're able to get past the treading-water classes into something that actually teaches and challenges you. Good luck on all the rest, too. The fic will come when it comes. I'll just keep checking back.
I want to get past these bullshit classes, quite desperately. Unfortunately, they want me to take "Math for EMS" next semester. It's basic math, like dilutions, fractions, decimals, and so on. I ACED CALCULUS. I've been tutoring math for 20 years. And they want me to take this bullshit class. *sigh*
Aaaaaaah, so glad things are going well for you!! You always were the cool-headed one in a crisis so I'll bet you'll do great things as a paramedic, and it suits you right down to the ground anyway.
(Obviously I'm not on LJ much these days either, but I do pop in every few days.) Miss you bunches, but I actually like Tumblr a whole whack of a lot more than I thought I would, so that's been keeping me entertained.
Also, er, *cough* I may have made the top fifty in Harlequin's So You Think You Can Write contest. Thought you might be pleased to know. :D
(And I still want my snog. Mark my words, I'm going to get it before I take off for that rainy blustery isle they like to call the UK.)
