On the Dean issue, the way I saw it, he was the equivalent of suicidal and that's just never pretty. It's not about tearful sad goodbyes, but about pushing the people you love most as far away as you can, because you have to do it, you can't let them stop you anymore. It's self-centered, yes. But in this case it came about from the most epic case of depression and PTSD ever + an attempt to save the world as a bonus to justify that need. So, I didn't quite suffer through it like you seemed to! But the fanservice on this episode was just ridiculous.
