So, I applied for a Recruitment Associate position with Teach for America yesterday, and I received an email this morning from the organization for me to set up a phone interview next week

How are you? I just finished the final phone interview with teach for america for the recruitment associate position. I am curious to learn from you...how long did it take for them to get back with you about your status? If they were interested in you, did they let you know after the final phone interview? Any information or advice you could provide would be most helpful! Thank you!
Let's see...if I recall, you have an initial phone interview (I had mine on a Monday), then after that they sent me an email informing me of a second interview that day, and then the following Thursday I was emailed a project to complete within an hour. After that, I emailed the results. Friday I had my second interview and then about a week after that I was given the results. Personally (and I am a little biased) I didn't like Teach for America's process of choosing candidates. The project wasn't difficult; it was just difficult to complete (and do a good job) within the time allotted. More time was needed to execute it. I found the man who gave the second interview to be politically biased and he asked very leading questions that I felt were semi-unprofessional. It's obvious what answers they want to hear. Moreover, a friend of mine applied with Teach for America for a teaching position and was turned down. I understand that these positions are competitive, but my friend was more than qualified to at least get a second interview.

Thanks for your response! I still have not heard anything yet, so I'll update you with the results. The process went a little different for me, same things, but just in a different order. How did they notify you? Was it by phone or email?
