Much squeeeage, the divinest kind! I loved this. It all seemed to click so well! I was really sad to see it end.

In the sequence in the garden I wondered if the broken off sentences were forgotten by you, or moments where Charles suddenly shifts focus?

Okay first of all:

OH HANK. OHHHH HANK trying to fix Charles and everyone and he doesn't get it but he's still trying to be so helpful, oh honey that made me hold a pillow and shake just a little bit. DXDXDX

And then that bit with Charles and Cain (and the detail about Cain not walking again OMG) and the trial that followed and how Charles feels better and clearer without the drugs and I'm just a sobbing mess.

Re all that other good stuff - I FEEL BAD FOR DOING THIS TO HANK IN FIC. But he honestly does have good intentions although poor boy does not get it >>. I hope I illustrated that well enough.

And also so so happeh you like the ending! I was really trying to aim for something quiet and not a big deal. It's sort of like a beginning because I haven't figured out if I want to do a sequel to this or not ><.

Lol yes that is Dr. Who!! I know little to nothing about it, but the gifs that come out of it and the truckloads of fans it has on the internet (and Torchwood, can't forget Torchwood) allows me the comfort of using it as a gif. :P

Aww it's okay, Hank can learn!! Boy grew up with hand-feet and I totally get that he's just doing his misguided best to help his cousin out (although, seriously, poor Charles. Endless hand-heart-clutching-at-my-pearls actions from me).

I'd love a sequel, let's be honest, but don't push yourself if you're not feeling it. Sequels need....special attention. XP

This is such an interesting AU! I think you prove a very valid point about telepathy being a more dangerous mutation because of the invasion of privacy and ability to change people's minds. I'm so sad you've decided to end it here, this fic was so lovely ♥

Thank you so much! I planned this story to end at Charles' realization that he is, in fact, not crazy, only because I didn't want it to be one of those fics that never ended lol. There may be more of this 'verse in the future because Charles' telepathy is just mindboggling for me. I'm glad you liked this!! :)))
