みんなさんit's another fun filled Tuesday
So in efforts to not think about the tragedy that has befallen our beloved Japan, I've been puttering around the house doing things (a.k.a nothing really). Not only does the situation depress me, but my epically beautiful summer plans have also been ruined. That is why it's just better to not think about it at all. As if the onslaught of media hasn't already painted a (very) bleak picture of the situation already.
So on a slightly better note, my dad came home from I think a week long trip to China(Yay!) and my household feels full again. As much as I love my daddy (which I do) when he's home (and jet lagged) he becomes the doting mother that I never had and never wanted. When I say doting, I mean... "Darling, are you eating enough? How come your face seems swollen? Are you feeding your brother? He seems really skinny..." so on and so forth... I kind of miss my very absent father: calls at 7 pm everyday to tell us that he is (most likely) not going to be home for dinner, Sat/Sun dinners where he yells at us until one of us helps him cook dinner, random need to ignore us when were whining to each other about things we want then randomly chipping in or buying it for us. But hey, beggars choosers
(side note: my dad was uber creepy this morning. I woke up at 6 and it was pitch black outside, so I snuggle back in and PRAY that I could sleep for another 2 minutes maybe. I thought I heard something moving, so I twist around to look at the foot of my bed and I see the outline of my father. Oh dear god it was scary... he was apparently watching me sleep cause he was afraid I wouldn't get up.
My netbook has a new お兄ちゃん!!! A.K.A I got my new desktop. I've decided to not connect it to the internet just yet (until my semester is over anyways). After I connect, I plan to kick my brother's ass in downloading ( he isn't going to be able to download A THING!!)
My prof is starting our exam review so time to stop
