[Fanfic] A Beautiful Mess (Chapter Sixteen - VIP Room Special Part Two)
Updated! Sorry it took time. I had some RL things to do the past three days. Here's the second and last part of the VIP Room special. Well, once you finished reading this chapter, you'll see that I put an extra effort on this one. lol.

CHAPTER SIXTEEN - VIP ROOM SPECIAL PART TWO
The Arashi members, Yana and Nakajima and Matsushima quickly went over to the new set and the recording quickly resumed.
“A surprise project, Mannequin Five Spring Special Edition, Arashi and Izumi Yana Fashion Coordination Exchange Battle!!” Nakajima started as Yana stood between her and Matsushima while Arashi is standing beside their own mannequin in the middle of the set.
“Let me explain this special project further.” Nakajima speaks while scanning her red folder. “As we all see there is a catwalk here, that means Izumi-san and Arashi will hold a fashion show wearing the clothes they coordinated for each other.”
The audience’s excitement heightened up at this point as they all cheer raucously.
“We will start with Arashi revealing their coordination for Izumi-san but there is a catch…” Nakajima stops for effect.
“Ehhhh…. Nani, nani?!!” The five members join the boisterous noise.
“Izumi-san will choose her top pick and the member who owns the winning outfit will get to strut the runway again, this time, walking side by side with Izumi-san.” Nakajima explains the catch resulting to a boisterous noise from the five men. “We invited several magazine photographers to capture their moment and it will be published in the next month’s issue of their respective magazines.”
“That’s unfair!!” Nino began talking. “I thought about this coordination for two whole nights!! I want to win but Yanyan is a DoS! She won’t choose me!!” He cried while Yana began laughing along with the audience.
“Not only your coordination will be credited, Izumi-san will also give points to the one walks the runway confidently.” Nakajima advises.
“Does that mean that she will not choose her favorite Arashi member at the end of the show anymore?” Jun asked.
“I will still choose.” Yana answered cheekily and Jun looks at her suspiciously before breaking into a cheeky grin.
“That’s right, Izumi-san personally requested that she will still choose her favorite member in the end.” Nakajima informed.
“Ohhhhh…” The audience all responded.
“This episode is really an Izumi Yana-sama special!” Nino commented. “She’s running the show!”
“Let’s begin now, the theme for Arashi’s coordination for Izumi-san is ‘The Best Hanami Viewing Date Outfit’, starting with Sakurai-kun.”
Sho slowly removed the pink cloth revealing a dark blue sweater dress, a fitted ¾ cut brown blazer, a leather oxford wedge and a leopard print clutch bag.
“Ohhhhh…” The audience reacted as they all clap their hands.
“Explain your theme, Sakurai-kun.” Nakajima said.
“Looking at Yana-chan, she exudes the sophisticated vibe around her.” Sho started. “Like Audrey Hepburn of the 21st century kind of feel.”
“Ohhh.” Yana smiled as she examines the outfit, it’s pretty well coordinated coming from someone like Sakurai Sho.
“Where would you take her for this Hanami viewing date?” Nakajima inquired.
“As always, Yokohama.” Sho proudly states, getting snorts from the four members.
“You’re starting to get really predictable whenever there’s a date involved. People might stalk you for real in Yokohama.” Nino sharply said causing laughter to everyone.
“Take a closer look, Izumi-san.” Nakajima told her.
Yana moves towards the mannequin, “I quite like this.” She said as Sho starts smiling widely. “Lately, I’m getting addicted to tailored blazers like this. The colors are well complemented and I love the shoes!”
“Yatta!!” Sho cheered as he jumps around the set.
“Do you usually dress like this in private?” Matsushima asked.
“Whenever I attend parties or go clubbing at night I usually dress like this.” Yana answered.
“But not when the sun is out and walking around the park looking at cherry blossoms?” Jun suddenly said, there’s a certain edge in his voice, like he’s a bit irritated but he manages to keep a smile in the end.
“Eh?” Yana was surprised at the sudden change of mood.
“Ohhh, he’s getting a bit scary…” Aiba hugs himself in fright.
“Jun-kun is getting a bit challenged at Sho-chan’s coordination…” Nino calmly said after reading Jun’s expression.
“I’m not gonna lose this battle.” Jun firmly announced, shooting dagger looks at the other members.
“Moving on, the outfit that Aiba-kun choose for Izumi Yana is this!” Nakajima said her usual line as Aiba reveals his coordination.
It was a dark blue denim jumpsuit, a brown knitted cardigan and a buckled high heeled sandals.
“The chic feel of this outfit suits her outgoing and happy personality, right? No one suits this outfit better than Yana-chan.” Aiba explains with such big gestures.
“Aiba-san, no need to get hyped up with the explanation. We still haven’t heard what she thinks of your outfit.” Nino butted in.
Yana sandwiched her face with her palms as she admiringly stare at the mannequin. “Kanpeki desu.” She sighed, not taking an eye away from the outfit.
“Deshou?” Aiba smiled while at pointing at her and she nodded, the next thing they knew they are giving high fives to each other.
“Would you wear something like this, Izumi-san?” Nakajima asked.
“Definitely.” Yana answered quickly. “It’s very stylish and the jumpsuit is a surprise, Aiba-san is really attacking with the jumpsuit.”
“I’m the jumpsuit kind of guy, you know.” Aiba proudly said and laughter comes roaring again.
“Let’s continue with Ninomiya-kun’s coordination. Here it is!”
The mannequin is wearing a dark red shirt, fringe coat, black legging-style jeans, leather ankle boots and ending it with a black leather oversized handbag.
Nino looks at Yana first before speaking, she’s clutching her hand in her mouth, stopping the urge to talk.
“What is it in your mind?” Nino accusingly points at Yana. “When you look like that, you wanted to say something mean. Say it!” He demands.
Yana’s shoulder is shaking as she controls herself from laughing. “I kinda have this theory that Nino doesn’t have a sense of season. Lately, during filming, he comes on set with layers and layers of clothes, it’s spring and it’s starting to get warm but he wears clothes like it’s winter. He’s like a human onion, you know.”
Yana’s piece of information causes thundering laughter from the members, the staff and the audience while Nino is pitifully sitting on the ground, hiding his face in embarassment.
“This coordination is actually good, I would wear something like this but not in spring. I will never wear leather boots during this season. But it’s perfect for autumn, Nino.” Yana continues to sabotage Nino.
“Thank you very much, please come back in autumn, Ninomiya-san.” Jun plays along as he gets into his DoS mode, pulling the dejected Nino at the far end of the set.
“Moving along, the outfit that Ohno-kun choose for Izumi Yana, is this!”
It was a rather simple one compared to the first three. The top was a colorful ¾ blouse with a combination of yellow, orange and brown palettes paired with a rolled up denim skinny jeans, fuchsia moccasins and a brown oversized shoulder bag.
“I was thinking of a simple, normal date. A walk in the park while drinking iced coffee as we admire the cherry blossoms. I will ask her to sit on a bench and I will draw a portrait of her.” Ohno explained as everyone reacted with a dreamy sigh.
“I never knew Ohno-san is a romantic.” Yana commented and Ohno blushed slightly. He caught a glimpse of Jun beside him, giving him another playful dagger look. “The outfit is simple but the colors bring out the spring season vibe.”
“Lastly, let’s take a look at Matsumoto-kun’s coordination, the outfit that suits Izumi Yana for their Hanami Viewing Date, is this!” Nakajima continues with the show.
“I think out of the five outfits, this one is the closest to her style.” Jun states with pride, getting ‘Ohhhhh’s’ from the audience.
“I hate it when he’s this confident!” Nino cried out, crouching down on the floor.
He revealed a black and white stripped dress, blue knit cardigan, red boat shoes and leather satchel.
“Yana is the laidback type of girl.” Jun starts explaining. “Her style is very simple. Tank tops, cardigans, shorts and spunky shoes. That’s basically how she looks like in private.” He keeps talking like he’s hinting to everyone that he knows her so well. “But since this is a date, I traded the usual shorts to a dress. I also noticed that she always carries a bag that she can strap around her body, that’s why I picked this satchel.”
“Nice observation.” Yana is impressed. “I don’t really like bags that you strap around your shoulder because the weight is concentrated on one side only that’s why when I go out, I always use those that have a long strap so that I can wrap it around my body.” She explains and Jun is smugly nodding his head.
“I also mentioned how she always wears spunky shoes. I picked this boat shoes because we are going on a Hanami viewing date so we’re going to walk around a lot and this one is good for walking. The red color adds some fun to the outfit.” Jun added as the four Arashi members were speechless at how he’s so competitive with this battle.
“Where would you take her?” Nakajima inquired.
“Somewhere out of Tokyo, Nagoya maybe. We’d do picnic beside the river while viewing the cherry blossoms.” Jun teased the audience with a little tongue action before making a complacent smile on his face.
“What would you say about this outfit, Izumi-san?”
“It’s the closest to what I usually wear. For me, it’s about simplicity and comfort when it comes to dressing up.” Yana said and the four members began to look gloom, Jun on the other hand is smiling to himself. “I think Jun-kun hit jackpot, right here.” She gently said while shooting a glance at Jun.
Jun throw his fist in the air as he point towards the camera, all proud of himself.
“Now that everyone has presented their coordination, it’s now time for Izumi-san to choose clothes for all the Arashi members. We prepared a few racks of clothes here, we would like to ask Izumi-san to look around and start coordinating Arashi’s outfits. After she have picked, Arashi will go backstage to change clothes and we will begin the fashion show.” Nakajima explained the flow of the segment.

“Himitsu no Arashi-chan, Spring Collection Fashion Show 2010, begins now!” Nakajima announces as Yana stands in between her and Matsushima at the Mannequin 5 set. On VIP Room set on the other side, spot light and lasers starts to blind their eyes as loud funky music erupts from the speakers.
The first one to come out is Jun, wearing a blue and green flannel shirt, dark fitted blazer, selvedge denim pants and black leather shoes.
He unbuttons the blazer as he walks the runway, keeping a sharp gaze at everyone he makes eye contact with. The last person his eyes caught is Yana, giving him a similar sharp look as he turns around for his final pose.
Aiba comes out next, looking very model-like with a blue and red stripes cream colored ¾ shirt, chino pants, navy blue corduroy shoes and a bag in hand.
He maintains a cool yet shy aura as he strides along the runway. He made a small tongue click for his final pose causing cheers from the girls in the crown.
It was Nino’s turn next, wearing a multi-colored plaid shirt, blue cashmere cardigan, brown pants and a suede shoes.
He keeps his walk playful, throwing occasional winks and his signature ‘I-am-good-looking-guy’ salute to the audience. As he stops for his final pose, he produces three red roses from his back pocket, throwing one on the left side of the audience, another one on the right side and the last one, giving to Yana as the audience squeals in jealousy.
It was now Ohno’s turn as he is dressed in a blue crew neck t-shirt, white knit cardigan, rolled-up khaki pants and rugged loafers.
He keeps a serious face, looking rather stiff as he focuses his eyes on a single spot at the other end. For his final pose, he stops at once, surveys the area while still maintain a serious façade and turns around to join the other members.
Lastly, Sho comes out from the backstage, wearing a blue checkered shirt with a few buttons opened up, revealing some skin, rolled-up skinny denim pants and a brown oxford shoes.
He stops for a moment to remove his aviator sunglasses before walking the catwalk. He’s the most confident one of them all, walking with such grace like a professional model and not forgetting to make eye contact to the crowd as he melts them with his intense stare. During his final pose, he turns around to crowd, curls his mouth for a smirk and turns around to the other members.
“Sakurai-san is too cool!” Yana let out as she claps her hand in admiration. “He’s very confident and confidence is very important in runway modelling. Good job.” She gives him a thumbs up.
“Now can we have Izumi-san to explain her coordination?” Nakajima asked and Arashi lined up side by side. “Let’s start with Matsumoto-kun.”
“Jun-kun likes wearing colors in private but he really suits dark clothes, like it gives him a sexier, mature edge.” Yana explains as she moves to Aiba. “Aiba-san suits whatever clothes you throw him so it wasn’t that hard to dress him up. We always see Aiba-san in loud outfits so I choose this light colored coordination for him. It gives him a fresh look.” Yana stops a moment and exchanges a small laugh with Nino. “For Nino, he’s the weird one.”
“Oi!” Nino playfully slaps her hand.
“Like I said earlier, he’s like a human onion and he doesn’t have a sense of season. In my opinion, Nino suits the preppy look best. That’s why I choose this outfit. Preppy with a bit of playfulness, that’s Nino for you.” Yana gave him a salute as Nino gives her a satisfied look.
“For Ohno-san, he’s very relaxed, isn’t he? He’s the t-shirt and jeans kind of guy so I just modified his image a bit. I added a cardigan so it wouldn’t be boring and exchanged the jeans with khaki pants. The loafers give a rugged edge to him.” Yana finishes and Ohno didn’t say a word which creates laughter on the set.
“Lastly, Sakurai-kun has the sexy image going for him and I think that even with the simplest clothes, he can still rock it, that’s why he’s the simplest one among them. Most girls don’t like rolled up pants but I personally like it on guys and for Sakurai-san it suits him perfectly.”
“Now that Izumi-san has finished explaining her coordination, it is now time for her to rank Arashi’s outfit for her. Keep in mind that whoever wins first place will get to walk again on the catwalk, this time with Izumi-san wearing his coordination and a chance to appear in next month’s fashion magazine.” Nakajima explains and the five guys and Yana nods in understanding. “Let’s start with the fourth place.”
Yana holds the fourth place sticker as she walks back and forth along the mannequins. Finally, she stops between Nino and Ohno before placing the sticker on Ohno’s mannequin. Ohno starts laughing as Yana apologetically bows at him.
“Fourth place is Ohno-san!” Nakajima announces. “What is it that you don’t like about it?” she asked Yana.
“Ahhhh… It’s too colorful for my taste.” Yana says. “But I like his date ideas. I would like him to draw a portrait of me.”
“But you didn’t choose me so, no portrait!” Ohno throws a tantrum as Yana laughs at him.
“Moving on, the third place goes to…”
Yana starts walking again, stopping abruptly in front of Nino before she moves to Sho and puts the sticker on his mannequin.
“I thought you like this!!” Sho accused her.
“I like it but if we were to walk along the park my feet will hurt with the heels.” Yana explains her reason.
“Sho-chan, it’s better to take her out clubbing with this outfit. It’s a no-no for a Hanami Viewing date.” Nino states bluntly.
“Continuing with the second place… it belongs to…”
Yana stops in the middle of the set, looking at the mannequins one by one before walking over to Aiba and placing the sticker on his outfit.
“I like this, like I said earlier it’s perfect. I’d like to buy this outfit later when the show is over but just like what I said to Sakurai-san, my feet will hurt if we were to walk around park.” Yana explains.
“It’s the shoes, ne?!” Aiba scratches his head.
“Continuing with the winner of this battle… the Hanami Viewing Date outfit that Izumi Yana chooses is…”
Yana plays around a bit as she runs back and forth in front of Nino and Jun. Keeping the suspense, she slowly moves towards Nino, deliberately extending the sticker to the mannequin but she stops midway and gives Nino a cheeky smile before running to Jun and placing the sticker on his mannequin.
“Matsumoto-kun gets first place! Congratulations!” Nakajima announces as Jun rejoices in front of the camera. Nino falls on the ground, lying on the carpeted floor with his face buried on the rough surface.
“I am so happy!!!” Jun proclaims as he stood beside Yana, giving her a high five.
“What is your reason for choosing this, Izumi-san?”
“Like Jun-kun said, this depicts my style. I was actually surprised that he took notice of my clothes in private. I will definitely wear this, looks very comfy and I love the shoes, it’s perfect for walking.”
“Yatta!!” Jun screams to the camera. “I told you I wouldn’t lose this battle.” He pointed his finger as if talking to someone behind the camera.
“As a gift to Izumi-san, the outfit will be given to you. Congratulations!”
“Ehh? Hontou ni?” Yana asked in surprised as Jun nods at her. “Thank you!”
“Ano… Can we have Yana-chan explain why she picked the autumn outfit last?” Aiba giggled as he looks at Nino, lying on the ground while staring at the ceiling.
“It’s an autumn outfit, please come back in autumn, Ninomiya-san.” Yana teases him.
“Kuso!!!” Nino mutters in frustration, not moving on bit from the floor.
“We will now ask Izumi-san to change into the winning outfit as she walks on the runway with Matsumoto-kun!” Nakajima announces.

“Continuing with the Himitsu no Arashi-chan, Spring Collection Fashion Show 2010, top model Izumi Yana san is gracing our runway with this year’s winning coordination. Douzo!”
Sho, Aiba, Nino, Ohno along with Nakajima and Matsushima stands side by side as they awaits Yana to come out from the backstage.
The light were all out, expect for a single spot light and laser lights. Finally, the music starts as Yana comes out from the back, lights are starting to open one by one. She’s wearing the winning outfit perfectly, walking along the catwalk with such bubbly and fun attitude. She did her pose as the wind machine starts to blow her hair. She went back to the backstage and a few seconds later, she comes out with Jun, her arms slipped on his as they happily struts the catwalk. They stopped in the middle of the runway, she placed her elbow on his shoulder as they posed for the flicking cameras of the magazine photographers.
It was only a mere two minutes or so but it was the happiest two minutes of the day for Jun. Having Yana’s arms tangled on his as they walk along this makeshift runway, feeling her smooth skin and gentle touch, the sweet smell of her cologne and the familiar flowery scent of her hair. He was over the moon and he doesn’t want it to end.

They went back to the VIP Room set, properly seating on their usual spots as they start the final segment of the show.
“Like we said earlier, Izumi-san will still choose her favorite Arashi member like the usual.”
“It will be really funny if Jun-kun doesn’t get to be chosen in this.” Nino makes his final banter for the day.
“If I’m in not chosen, all my efforts for tonight’s show goes to waste, seriously.” Jun says as he give Yana a knowing look.
“Please stand behind there and give a hug to the person you decided on.”
Yana walks back and forth as the five men closes their eyes. It was a quick decision for Yana as she hurriedly strangles Jun’s neck on her arms.
“I would like a hug from you but please don’t kill me.” Jun jokes as he rubs his hand on his neck. Yana quickly apologizes as she tends to his neck quickly.
“It’s no surprise that Matsujun wins tonight. The four of us were waving the white flag since the impressions part.” Sho said.
“The ‘Jun-kun’ with a heart, right?” Aiba joins in.
“Let’s quickly end this. Bye bye!!” Nino waved at camera.
“So today’s guest is Izumi Yana-san. Thank you very much!” Nakajima ended the show as every claps their hands.
