Lives…

Some are rich and lavish, some are in poverty. Some will start a family, some will chose to live alone. Some are happy, others not so much. But each is unique, like its own special footprint on the Earth.

Most people will only live once; 67 years is the average.

Just a little note: in 1667, while pirates were definitely around--and would still be for centuries--Elizabeth would be like... super dead by then. (She died in 1603.) 1667 would be seven years after Cromwell's little commonwealth, with Charles II being king until 1685. (I just thought I'd let you know? Sorry for the history-picking. OTL)

All that aside, this is turning into a very interesting turn on pirate!Arthur. I hope to read more!

Oh man! Thanks for pointing that out!
I meant to put 1567, so it could match up with the Spanish Armada in 1588! Ah. - blushes- I shall fix that right now!

And glad you've enjoyed it! ^^

Ah, that makes much more sense! XD Though I would be interested if this were to take place not during Elizabeth's reign, seeing as the actual golden age of piracy was settled in 1650-1700 (and even a little after that, what with Queen Anne's War). But I'm glad I could help. To think, so much confusion over one typo... XD

Heh, sorry bout that! =/
But yeah...I actually did want to make it set in the Elizabethan era and not when it was more popular just to antagonize Arthur and his crew a bit more. I hope that isn't a turn off for you =o
But either way, I'm glad. If you hadn't pointed that out, I probably wouldn't have noticed till much later! =D

Oh-ho, I have the feeling that something interesting is going to happen during Arthur's mission. Perhaps leading him to meet Alfred, even.

Also, Arthur's immortal? That's interesting.

Yup, he's immortal alright! XD I'm gonna have a blast writing all the angst that comes with it! =p

And thanks! I'm glad you're still enjoying the story :)
