Matisyahu is cool. I'm don't fancy raggae muchm but I love the guy's energy. Being so openly Jewish, I find him inspiring as well. Chasidism has been a huge influence in my own life and music for the past year as well. I've often wondered what it would look like to have a hardcore/industrial band with the lead singer in full Chasidic garb. I don't know if I'll ever take it that far, but we shall see. :)

There are a couple hardcore bands out there that sing daily prayer book prayers in Hebrew to the tune of loud Hardcore music. The WierdJews community on LJ should point you to them no problem.

man, I have to say how happy and glad I am that you were finally able to step over that mental line you had. I have been able to see the coolness for a while now and am more then glad to see you move into it. It is amazing how much we all grow as people once we cut ourselves off from the old Church paradeigm.

You have friday evening open?

Friday should work out. I'll let you know if it changes (or I forgot about something), but I'm pretty sure that it's open.
