I would really advise you to see someone--Is there a free nurse line in your area? In zinc poisoning, you'd probably have some pretty heavy-duty gastrointestinal symptoms as well, so absent those I would look for another cause.
That sucks, I'll be praying for you. But listen if it gets worse at all, get thee to an ER. Broke or no, don't throw your health out for lack of funds.
man... praying for you. let us know if we can do anything for you. if you need otc meds, let me know and i can get em for you at cost... :) **godspeed**
On a side note, I never realized that you and I must have the same sense of humor. I found your "We're Satanists" comment to be hilarious... it goes right in line with my "I've been sacrificing pigs" reply. I think I've been trumped though. ;)
Last year there was two times that my urine was dark brown and even red. It scared me really bad, so I started drinking insane amounts of water, and it never came back.
Last night someone told me that my stuffy ears probably means I have fluid in there, and if that's the case I probably have an ear infection, and if that's the case then I need to get antibiotics because there have been many people who get punctured eardrums by not getting their infection taken care of. I got worried because I don't have any insurance and a doctor visit would cost a lot of money. I was sick for about 3 weeks but I didn't want to go to the doctor, and now my ears are all stuffy.
So you said you had an ear infection and you took zinc to make it go away? Maybe I should try that? Do you advise it? I would much rather do that than pay a visit to the doc.

Victor, after what zinc has put me through, I doubt I'll ever take it again, much less advise someone else to.
For an ear infection, the best thing I have found is what's called an Ear Candle. They use them at Spas and they can usually be found at the local(not corporate) vitamin store. Another thing I use is called Ear Oil, which you put a couple of drops in your ear at night. It's made up of Mullein, Garlic, St. John's Wort, and Olive Oil. Between hose two, an ear infection has no chance. not to mention, the candle cleans out you ear very gently.
