That's great! I'm probably going to rent for a bit, until I can afford a 2 bedroom flat.

Mind you, finding out today that I'm being effectively relocated in 4 weeks put a spanner in my current plans...

yeah it does thanks, quite tempted to stay on and get paid to do a Phd but would like to be out of university before being 30!

sea cadets?? i may be wrong but on my last birthday i was over 16 sadly, and i think would of joined the sea cadets if i wanted too when i was 14 thanks. secondly i cant go fight in the navy until i have a degree as an officer is required too.

ignorant, hmm, trying to be encouraging always back fires sadly! i dont want people to see people struggle in life

My official moving date is the 3rd Feburary. If the people find a house before then, I could be in quicker. The law is different in Scotland, once both solictors have agreed on the terms, the house is mine and there is no going back! In England, the sellers can change there mind up to the last 24 hours.

So thats a relief!!

You back at Christmas?? I am back from the 27th - 30th December. I am in Scotland at new year, but hopefully we will have a chance to meet you.

Yes, you're right, the law is different in Scotland. That's why Jocks never have to worry about being gazumped (or however the hell you spell it).

I'm gonna be around in Newcastle between 14th Dec and 4th Jan, so it seems as though we're going to be able to meet-up.
