OMG, there are some weirdos in the world.

Today I read this post which deals with some things we don't know about Mars. There is a rule 'don't read the comments', but I invite you to do so and marvel. All of these conspiracy theorists are ones who never studied any of the disciplines involved. Yet they know EVERYTHING

When I worked in a computer lab in college, I got cornered by a guy who was ADAMANT about "3,000 ft tall glass towers on Mars" and how an interplanetary war between Mars and that planet destroyed those towers and their corresponding towers on the Moon and when the planet was destroyed, it took out Mars's atmosphere and the people of Mars came to Earth.

To this man, it was NOT science fiction. It was all being covered up by the government.

I listened to him rant about this for over an hour as I was trying to close up the lab. Nearly had to get the campus police involved just to make him leave.
