[In light of certain questionable polls she was made privy to, Nami feels that a balance needs to be righted. Honestly? She doesn't much care about the answers. She just wants to have fun. |D]

So that's who Alex is, then? I recall replying to that individual. Though I gave him actual history of Terra...

That is the first that I saw of said person, though. So I really cannot judge beyond that - though he was certainly well-spoken enough.

I spoke with him soon after his arrival. He seems to be a very interesting man, quite talented with magic too.

[Yeah, Iris is so weird in what attracts her to men.]

I suppose there are many ... magic-users here? [Don't mind this scientist. He's still getting over the first one he met.]

I must commend this Alex on his gathering of information, though. That seems a rational thing to do.

[Oh, she doesn't mind, she knows some herself. Of course Robert would probably be fascinated to know Iris is a god, but she's not exactly telling that fact.]

I'm sure you will meet more who know magic or have magic in their worlds than those who do not.

[He was afraid of that.]

I come from a world where magic is... nonexistent, to the best of our scientific knowledge. So this has been a difficult scenario to adjust to. [Not that Robert's particularly adjusted to it, yet.]

My own world has some magic, even if it can be rare. I have some because I am a priestess of a god and they were given to me. But I know it can be very strange if one has never seen it before. My friends were very surprised the first time they saw teleportation in my world.

[Second universe he's heard of that mentions gods.]

It... certainly is very strange. But it is certainly interesting to consider the physics and processes that must exist to power it. [Because Robert can't imagine anything not having its own laws and structure.]

I'm sure if Professor Lexis from my own world were here you two could go on forever on that topic. I'd be happy to discuss it at some point to the best of my own ability how it works in my own world at least.

[Professors? She has professors in her world? Robert instantly brightens.]

A... Professor Lexis? If Professor Lexis ever does come to Luceti, it would be a pleasure to meet a distinguished fellow intellectual.

I would be delighted to hear of anything that you could possibly explain on the subject, whenever it was convenient to you.

[Yes she does, though "Professor" seems to be a euphemism for "crazy inventor guy" but Lexis sure made some useful stuff, so he's respected.]

If he ever does come, of course. I've been the only one from my world for over a year now. But I would be happy to explain how it works to the best of my ability. Perhaps we should meet in person at some point so I can show it also?

[Even "crazy inventor guy" works for Robert at this point, honestly.]

Certainly, if you would like to do so. [Robert is still... well, okay, he's a little anxious meeting new people, but so far his experiences with Lucetians have been mostly positive, so he's not too adverse to the idea. Besides, he gets to learn, and that's enough to overrule anxiety.] I am always interested in learning more... and I presume the knowledge I gain about all these worlds will aid me here.

It will definitely not hinder you to learn something of the worlds people come from. Magic is so prevalent in the other worlds that it definitely cannot hurt.

If it is fine with you, I could meet you somewhere in town today. About any location is fine by me. What I can do isn't extremely destructive since my skills tend towards abilities to heal and protect.

You certainly have a point there. If I am to understand this... magic, then I must understand the worlds that it occurs in. And perhaps vice-versa.

(OOC: Robert totally made a recent journal post so you could... assume they meet during that time? Or something?) I would have no qualms with that. I meant to be going out later today sometime anyway, as I am in need of supplies. [And Luceti's bothering Robert less, to the point where he doesn't want to hide inside all day.]

[ooc: That would be fine, will migrate over to there after this tag then. I am just sure KJ's inbox would appreciate it.]

And also the fact that many residents know magic could be useful to you some day. If you get hurt, the skills I and many others have to heal is very useful.

I'll meet you in the plaza, maybe near the fountain since that is a very convenient location?
