[Nami gets teleported home from the draft, rolls over on her bed and promptly goes back to sleep, too weary to even bother crawling under the covers
( Read more... )
[Zoro just makes an acknowledging humming noise in response to that, and pulls out a bottle of sake. Luffy may have been here by the time they'd gotten back, but he'd still been gone, and Robin is still gone. He doesn't grudge having to restock the liquor cabinet. (Although it would've been nice if you'd kept out of his stash, at least 8|)]
...A lot happened while we were gone.
[There's the disappearances, and the experiment they'd originally been avoiding - but his piercing gaze tracks over Nami, lingering on her injuries.]
[Nami leans against the table, nodding at that. And wondering what exactly to say to that inspection of his. Hm.] Yeah.
At least Robin came back before she went home. [She did hit the journal network, but Nami almost missed it was Robin, so they may have missed it.] So we know she was okay. And... maybe she'll come back the way Luffy did.
[Older and wiser, and all that. And her grin quirks up a little wryly. It's not entirely without bitterness, because the whole week sucked, but:] On the brighter side, at least you missed the experiment.
[...Fine, don't talk about the draft. Yet. He just gives a sharp nod to the stuff about Robin - that woman can more than take care of herself.
--Then he snorts and wrinkles his nose a little, popping the cork on the bottle as he leans against the counter.] Aa, sounds like it was a good one to miss. What a pointless thing.
[Ah, sweet, blissful ignorance of all the details involved. 8|| He totally misses that bitterness - what's to get all upset about over a bunch of fake lovey dovey crap? (That's what went on, right?)]
[Hey, there is no good way to lead into the topic of how you were almost eaten by a dragon. :| Also, eyeing that sake and wondering where Chopper is. >_>]
[...8| Also shuffling past you to get her own, because she's still standing and the fridge is just there. Despite it being tempting to make him get it as a matter of principle. That being said, she's totally sinking into a chair and trying to wrestle the thing open one-handed now. (See, this is why stealing yours was easier.)] Though Brook did say something about you getting horribly lost out there. Maybe they were making fun of you.
Che, no. It was probably Brook's fault with his damn songs.
[...And okay, that's just sad. He leans forward as he speaks to yoink Nami's bottle out her hands and pop the cork out. See Nami, this is why you shouldn't be careless enough to get your arm put in a sling. 8| How would you get your booze open if Zoro hadn't be here and feeling generous, think about that next time you're in a fight.]
[She'd totally just take her arm out of the sling, jerk. B| Which she shouldn't do. So. ... thanks. >.> Though naturally she's not grateful enough to say that, but she does give a faint hum of contentment as he does the job for her.]
[>_>a In light of the fact that their 'drinking because shit went down' to 'celebratory drinking' ratio in this place is way skewed, and also you just came back beat to hell from the draft. 8|]

Incredibly pointless. I'm glad it's over with.
How was your trip?

Zoro lets an eloquently furrowed scowl say that for him while he takes a gulp of booze, then wipes his mouth.]
...The animals were acting weird. And Brook taught [us] Chopper a bunch of annoying songs.

If you want one, get your own.
[...Or make him get it, he won't actually grumble very much. But one has to keep up appearances. >_>]

Weird like...They kept rhyming. One followed me around for a while babbling some nonsense about green eggs and ham.

That is weird. Maybe the animals were affected, too.

Brook's fault. Of course.
...how much alcohol do we have in the fridge?

Plenty. [Zoro's definition of plenty, so.] I got more earlier.
