[Early evening, Nami's going to pester the entire village with eight failed filter attempts over the space of a couple hours. Sorry about that. Her message is the same to every one of them-- highly generic, asking if she can have a moment of their time...and just long enough to realise the filter is failing

and Zoro knows that tone of voice damn well
This is a swordsman pushing open your door with a stony face and narrow eyes. He sure as hell heard half of that, but first of all, and more important in light of what he overheard - ]
Oi. Problem?
[point - him - at - it]

This is Nami slamming her journal. Angrily. Not aimed at Zoro, but this conversation with Caesar is sure as hell over now.]
No.
[Yeah, no. Fuck.]
...maybe.
[Definitely.]

[He knew something had fucking happened, but if it's what it sounds like and this Yuber had more to do with the condition she came back from the draft in than the Third Party did, why she didn't mention it is -
- not one of his top three concerns at this exact moment, actually. Top five, definitely, but first
1) is she in active danger right now, is the crew in active danger right now
2) where is the fucker
3) why aren't they taking out said fucker right now, or preferably a week ago
4) does Luffy know about this, he must not know about this because they're not taking the fucker out right now]
What the hell is going on.

She won't lie about it. They had to know, anyway, it's not fair to keep them in the dark, she learned that the hard way last time--]
I got ambushed on the draft. By Yuber and Nu.

Neither do they. (Well, Luffy does, but not when it matters, and Zoro may go a little foggy on Helmeppo insignificant foes once in a while, there are just too many, but Nami doesn't forget, and the shitty lovecook doesn't leave her alone on a battlefield unless he has to - )
Zoro crosses his arms with deceptive calmness and tilts his head.]
Ambushed.
[Keep going, Nami. He already knows this isn't going to be good. (jumped while they were all supposed to be fighting the fucking Malnossos' enemies white as hell when they got back how much blood did she lose)]

I can deal with her. I can deal with him. I can't... [...yeah, okay. Frustration colouring her words because she really didn't deal with either of them, stupid lack of power cap and stupid lack of weapon and she could've been smarter somehow. Also, Caesar, you're a jerk.] I can't deal with them all at once, Zoro. It's just--
[Two years. She was supposed to be better.]
Sanji-kun and Noel intervened before it went too far.

Before it went too far. That's descriptive. Not that it matters. She's had her share of beatdowns, and what Nami has and hasn't said speaks volumes. No details, not even a brush off or 'it wasn't that bad' (that he would have seen through anyway), just matter-of-fact, direct and spare and that tight, cut-off overtone -
- so. Outnumbered and defending (distracting from?) a noncombatant. It was fucking bad. He doesn't need to know how close. The last time Zoro was present when it got close to 'too far' for you was with Hazama, Nami, so that's the bloody visual that's seeping across his mind.]

[Clearly they weren't intervened thoroughly enough.]

There's a thump on the roof above, and Nami glances up briefly-- Luffy's back-- before she swings her legs down over the edge of the bed.]
Luffy doesn't know. [Following that hurriedly, because she rather suspects he might object to that:] He's about to. I just... didn't know how to bring it up.
[It's sort of the truth and sort of not. She's been foundering on how to not sound like a complete victim. :|]

[How you doing guys? Have your captain walking up to the door frame! Sorry Nami, you didn't say that hurriedly enough unfortunately.]

[Timing, captain, you have it.]

It's about the draft. I need to talk to you about--

About the fight right...? I already know, Sanji told me.
