ok consider this sort of a meme.

since i've moved into the new apartment i've been cooking a ton, doing really well with grocery shopping on a weekly basis. the only issue i'm having is coming up with new ideas for recipes for dinner. obviously there are a million recipes on food.com but i'd prefer more personal recommendations. so that being said,

On a side note, my favorite thing to make is crepes. I do breakfast crepes, dinner crepes and dessert crepes, and for some reason I get as much -- if not more -- satisfaction from the actual cooking process as I do from the eating.

that sounds really good...i might try even just the scallops since as you pointed out the sticky rice sounds pretty ambitious.

The scallops portion of it can pair well with a lot of other sides. Even a simple udon noodle with basil and brown sugar pairs really well.

I was just tossing out the sticky rice because it seemed like you were asking for the big guns.
