And yet...

...honesty is something most people can't seem to handle. At times I've wondered why a spoonful of sugar and a reach-around seem to be necessary when being honest with some folks. I prefer the 'tell it to me straight and don't worry about that one feeling I have left...it's bulletproof' mentality that I've asserted in my life.

The sticky note attached to the shelf at the right of my desk at work says:

Can't handle honesty? Stay away from me.
