Yule Brunch

I made sausage gravy for Yule brunch this year. This is mostly for my future reference when needing to make a large batch. Ingredients were roughly:
  • 1 1/2 pounds of Bob Evans Sausage
  • 1 pound of R.B. Rice's Mild Sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups-ish of flour
  • 1/2 gallon of milk
  • 1 quart of water
  • Salt and Pepper

I don't think your numbers are totally accurate. Reducing it by 1/4 would be correct IF your 20-22 guests are also eating a metric butload of other food. If it is your main breakfast dish (with a side of bacon...can't forget the bacon) then it would probably be just right...or a little short.
