I've pretty much exactly said what you've written in that 3rd paragraph. I've actually never wanted to play guitar that badly, but I have one in my apartment now and desperately want to play something and it's my only option so I should take it. Too bad it takes a while before you can strum madly (something that sounds decent) and sing along. Any way to get it out, right.
