You do make several good points. Harry would have saved himself a lot of misery if he'd just told Dumbledor what was going on at least once in each book. And it certainly is true that Harry is reactive rather than proactive in dealing with his problems.

Of course, for about half the books he's still waiting for puberty to kick in so I figure he should be cut some slack for that. He did finally lead the charge in OotP.

Yeah, and we all know how well that ended.

Well...you may not look forward to writing these, but I'm certainly looking forward to reading them. Thanks.

Actually, my feeling is, if you don't like it, don't read it. If you have an audience, so be it, but don't torture yourself over it.

Now, what confused me last week is that your icon here, it looks more like Dawn than you, I think. But one of you called the other by name, and I got it straightened out.

We actually deliberately called each other by the wrong names all weekend to fool you.

No, not really.

When I made that icon, I couldn't find long hair without bangs, and I used to straighten my hair. Maybe I should make a curly one?

Also, Dawn has darker skin.

I was sort of curious about that all along, because whenever I see this type of icon people use, I wonder how accurate it is, because the options for customizing it must be fairly limited. Same way Yahoo Avatars doesn't have any beards or heterosexual clothing for me to use. It's close enough that if Dawn hadn't been there, I would have recognized you well enough.

In the parlance of wrestling stables, Azkaban is the ringer of the group, the biggest, baddest, most unstoppable guy on the team. Book Seven is the mystery man, HBP is the flash-in-the-pan rookie with the million dollar smile and no workrate, but Azkaban is the backbone of this team. I aim to break it.

One of them had BETTER not be HHH.

No, Superman is HHH. Wait. No, Vernon Dursely is HHH. Dammit, I can never keep my metaphors straight when I do these.

You'll probably get a ton of comments like this, since people don't have the good sense to read the already posted comments before commenting themselves, but I'll explain what the Head Boy is.

He's Prefect with more power. There's also a Head Girl.

And for background purposes, despite Harry's father being an ass, he ended up being Head Boy and Harry's mother was Head Girl. There are two prefects for every house (one girl and one boy since they live in separate dormitories), but there's only one Head Boy and one Head Girl for the entire school. Oh and in OotP, Ron and Hermione were chosen to be prefects. Harry threw a minor temper tamtrum over it.
