There's a response down thar further, but yeah...The Sidebar is easy to find. You only have to make a couple turns from 95 to get there.
For example: 95 North to 395 downtown. 395 isn't even a real highway, it's just a mile-long off-ramp from 95 into downtown. You'll go past Camden Yards, and make a right on Pratt Street. You're now in da harbor, hawn. Go down Pratt *maybe* a mile, but probably more like a half-mile, and make a left onto Calvert. Go up Calvert a couple blocks, and make a right Lexington. Go down two blocks, and the Sidebar is on the corner of Guilford and Lexington.
You should also bring a posse, especially if her name is correeen.
Yeah, I'm starting to doubt she even exists, fo'real. However, I know you exist. Either that, or I'm in some weird Twilight Zone thing, where reality is my imagination, and my imagination is reality.
Or something.
After causing my great downfall of vegetarianism, you didn't go and become one yourself or anything, did you? We're debating whether or not to have a veggie-friendly grill, and so far, we've only had one person ask.

Torn on what I'm up to that night. I'm Baltimore challenged as well...hell Maryland-challenged...so I'll need something resembling directions or a link as to where I can get them. Is there safe parking?
It all depends on if I hit the Oktoberfest behind my place in Shirlington...if it goes like last year...I might be outta commission...and well if I have folks to attend with me (since getting lost in Baltimore alone is no fun ;))...know people who are going...but dunno if they wanna head up *with* me ;)
I'd love to see you guys though and hang out with you and your fabulous wife though...so yeah...going to try to make it...but don't be too irked if I don't ;)

The Sidebar is easy to get to from I-95, and there's lots of safe on street parking. It's a cool place -- happy hour is lawyers from the courthouse next door, and at night it's a party.
Nifty...I typically avoid Baltimore like the plague--but might make it. I have a convertible..hence the safe parking question ;)(Yeah...I'm such a girl sometimes...)
Yup...Big Daddy Chrome rocks...caught them at the Royal Lee few weeks back.
Is there a website or anything that I can snag directions from? As I stated...I have no clue re: roads/directions/anything in MD. Since I live so close to DC...I never venture across the VA/MD line ;)

You can get accurate directions from the Sidebar Tavern web site, except they tell you to take 295 to Russell Street. It's the same from I-95, you just get off at the Russell Street exit.
Basically once you get off I-95, take any northbound street (Calvert, Charles) to Lexington, turn right and drive straight east to Guilford.
Well, I wouldn't fault you for missing it for Homecoming, which is a very important thing in highschool, all sarcasm aside. But...the Pietasters? Jeesh.
I really, really want to see this, but on October 9th I'll be many meters below the surface of the earth. Maybe you should...I dunno...plan around my schedule?
I will see one of your shows in the near future. I promise.

I think I can make it. Are there directions? I'm Baltimorian-challenged.
