i'm really starting to question whether or not i want to have an online identity. i don't think i want everyone knowing how i'm doing and what i'm up to. mostly because those things would bore anyone to death but also because i think i should decide who knows what i'm doing and all that. if i wasn't convinced that it was a good tool for keeping in ( Read more... )

a guy who's pentacostal youth group i used to attend found me on myspace and i gave him a chronological book list that corresponded to my gradual wandering away from christianity throughout college. he has pictures of him and his wife praying outside of an abortion clinic on his page. it was quite awkward.

I agree...

But...

The Us vs. Them mentality is a weird phenomenon that doesn't infiltrate the better part of justice seeking communities. After living outside of the States for the past few years, I've noticed that my ONLY encounters with the Us vs. Them mentality have only been in the States. I could give reasons for this, but I'll forsake that for the time being.

Anyway, just an observation.
