So the Cowboys won last night, and I'm pleased about that. It wasn't the prettiest game I've ever watched, but a win is a win. That's all that matters to me. Although you probably wouldn't be able to tell that if you ever watched a game with me. I'm beginning to realize that I'm a pretty critical fan

Good luck with the fanfictiony goodness, Mike! I'm trying to get an e-mail off to you, but I've been swamped for days: big reunion this past weekend (including houseguest), and my mom is also in town, so I've had to trek across the bridge every day for almost a week to either take part in reunion stuff or hang with the Mom and my sister, with no computer time at night like I'd normally have. I haven't forgotten our ongoing discussion, though, and will get back at you soon (Mom leaves tomorrow). Also, please keep me posted on the fanfic progress!
