Well I now no longer have a working computer at home, despite having enough bits to almost make three complete machines. Isn't Corsair RAM budget RAM or something? I just remember that my pre-build research lead me to avoid Corsair.

you may both be right, Corsair does do some value stuff for budget/small business type systems, but XMS2 definitely ain't cheap!
