I've turned off the poor, struggling air conditioner and opened my windows and doors again. It didn't do a great job, but I can't even imagine what it would have been like in here without that puppy perched in the window. We've been hovering in the high 90s up to 100+, with humidity from hell, and it wasn't even cooling off at night. We're supposed ( Read more... )

So glad your heat has broken, for however long it lasts. I will not ask what the problem is with APA-style text citations instead of endnotes, and what must be cross-checked against what. The mysteries of your profession are sacred.

I thought tomatoes adored sun? But they also adore lotsa water as well.

It's wonderful! Very happy not to be hot. The tomatoes should be, too. (Everything looks cooked. :/) We're supposed to get a week of normal.

The APA citations look like this (Yeep, Ouch, and Lulzy 2012), and they're sprinkled through the text. You have to plod through the chapters and check each of these citations against the bibliography. With endnotes, all the citations in the book are grouped together in a tidy pile. :)
