My internet service is advertised as 15 mbps. http://www.speedtest.net/ reports that I am getting 30.

I think it lies or this is part of there "Speed Boast" technology.

I'm running QOS on my link to ensure that my downloads and other high bandwidth tasks don't take up the whole link.

And when I'm doing transfers, I'm getting "only" between 11-14 sustained which due to my QOS settings makes perfect sense.

I'm very happy with the speed I'm getting.

I'm hoping at some point they can offer the 50mbps service for a reasonable price.
