Saw it too. It is very R. Enjoyed it but it was insane. Did you notice the Spider-man parallels? Kickass's look out of costume, the jump scene, the cafeteria scene, the voice over, the "Uncle Ben" like father. Even their house looks strikingly like Peter's house in the first Spiderman, with the fences and general grotty look.
