So, I have two tidbits.

First, I was dumped. For those of you who know and those you who do not, Kristin and I were still together until this evening, when she dumped me. I think it is good: good that she took the initiative and good that she taking the initiative will give it a greater degree of finality.

Second, I think I have decided how I feel

I know from past (and very painful) experience that it's the actual seperation that is the hardest to do. My ex and I were never happy together, but it was so tragic because we didn't know what to do without each other. We were SO used to the routine. It was a mother to break. So that was very wise of you to not tell her about your sister until after your conversation. It could have definetly brought the "desperation" level up a notch. And is that a song you posted? Or a poem? I feel that it is vaguely familiar...like some old blues...

Yea... probably familiar. It is L. Cohen, "Never Any Good". I know that it is on More Best Of but not sure if it was on other albums as well.
