I love it. Yesterday we had free booze & free food courtesy of the firm. Today the attorney's in my unit are treating us to lunch. Boy did I feel dumb. I only ordered an appetizer because I figured if we were all going to lunch everyone would pay their own way. Nope. They're treating us.

I bought a new laptop and UPS keeps delivering it in the middle of the damn day when no one's home. Of course it's "signature required" so they can't just leave it.

So I may have found an apartment in Newark that is doable for me. It's small, but still quite a bit larger than the dorm rooms I was used to in college. Kitchenette, fridge washer/dryer etc. w/ utilities included in rent. I'll have to ask to find out exactly which utilities are included. I feel like shit. I just generally don't feel good and woke up this morning with a killer headache. Actually I kinda feel hungover but I didn't drink any yesterday.

I probably should have taken the day off, instead i'm stuck here until 5.

So the behemoth of a case that's been kicking my ass for a while now needs to be ready on Monday. Looks like I'm going to have to spend some time at the office this weekend!

Apparently my dad used to deliver newspapers to Joe Biden's father at Colonial Chevrolet in Wilmington. The paper was 7 cents back then and Biden would give him a dime and say "keep the change."

That's the kind of change I can get behind.

I'm looking out my office window and I see SNOW FLURRIES?  WTF? It's too damn early for cold weather.

I managed to buy rear pads for the Mazda not fronts.  I just bought a set of EBC Greens and paid the expedited shipping.  Haha, I suck at life.

I Bought some Axxis/PBR Metal Master front pads for the Mazda.  At 22.5K the front left have life left, but the front right pad is paper thin (maybe 1/32" left)  The cool thing is the pads were $55 shipped which isn't bad at all ( Read more... )

I ended up with $140 a new pair of running shoes, and a cake.  No presents except the shoes because I didn't really ask for anything.
