First of all, thank you to those of you who replied to my last entry. I don't know what prompted me to ask that but thank you for taking the time out to give your honest answers and reasons. It surprised me to see that 3 out of the 4 of you gave up speech. Especially Dawn and Alisha who I think sometimes, talk just to hear themselves at times. lol ( Read more... )

so do you think then you see with your heart and mind or is this something youre trying to improve? And seeing with your heart you should have included is not as safe as seeing with your eyes, because though the heart sees what the eyes cannot, it is the heart that usually winds up hurt. I tried the heart thing recently, the being "blind" letting the heart see and think for me...lot of good that did me. But let me know how it works for you.

You know, I thought about what you said about me never shutting up. And I don't think that's true. We talked equally as much, it's just that you never noticed because the situations in which we did it were different. At home, I was the one that would talk, because I was either bouncing ideas off you, or it was like pulling teeth to get you to say two words. But when we were out in public, or around other people, you were the one that did all the talking while I sat back and observed. Let's face it, you always like to be the star of the show, and I was content to let you be and just people-watch or listen. I thought it was always funny that coworkers never believed me when I said you were quiet as hell at home and serious. And how many people didn't believe you when first meeting me and you said I'd talk nonstop when I felt like it. I guess in a way, we balanced one another out.

Yea, now that you put it that way, we did have a nice balance. Looking back, we both did an equal amount of talking I guess. Weird thing to me was I'd talk nonstop out in public where you were quiet and at home you'd do all the talking, unless I was drinking, and I was quiet. Then there were times where we just had good conversations.

Was browsing through some journals out of pure boredom and ran across yours.

This entry was an insightful and interesting load of thinking. Very true if you ponder over it while you read. Thanks for the good read.
