i'm jealous that you know scott heim. mysterious skin is one of my favourite books (as well as films), and i'd love to know how he wrote that book. how'd you meet him?

definitely. i've read 'mysterious skin' four times and i'm still amazed at the language. it's one of those books that i wish i had written, but i don't think that my words would come even close.

He is in my circle of friends. I have gone dancing with him a few times and partied with a couple. I had no idea he was a novelist til the other day though.

If I ever get into a discussion about "Mysterious Skin" I will let you know. There are some really cool interviews about the writing process he went through online though.
