My mother's youngest sister, my Aunty Ann, died last night in her sleep, and for once "A blessed release" is true - she had been suffering from Creutzfelt-Jakob Disease (CJD) for the last 2 years or so, getting worse and worse ( Read more... )

I'm sorry Michael; you've written about her before and while her death isn't a surprise it's still always a shock.

You were well loved by her it sounds like. And she by you. That, in the end is what matters.
