This past Saturday I got made a Life Member of the NZ AIDS Foundation. Overall, it was a very special occasion, especially as I got to take my mother. She's never been around such a diverse crowd of homos before, but at 79 she handled it all with great aplomb. She knows Government House from years ago, so was pleased to have a look at it again, and

Congratulations! With December 1 approaching, I've been thinking and remembering with special thoughts, those we've lost. I'm used to this annual ritual so it is particularly nice to have nice AIDS related news this time of year. Nice.
