this could take a while
so i haven't done a proper update for a while, i just haven't been bothered as only a few people check it to keep in touch (in other words, start replying and stop being so slack!)
last weekend was MacDonald's wedding, what a brilliant weekend. Joanne and I got a lift up with 2 other fencers on the friday morning, arrived in Fort William where it was being held and had to get ready straight away. us fencers were the Guard of Honour, so in other words we got to look cool and wear swords all day
the ceremony was brief, which was good. so while they went to a castle to get photos we went to the hotel bar and took our own photos,
i then come up with an idea to give Paul and Kristin the Academy Salute after they cut their cake, so we went to the car park to practice as some hadnt done it for a while
the dinner was lovely, very filling but we managed to work it off with the Ceilidh after the happy couple cut their cake with the Princess Bride sword that Paul made
they are such a great couple
we finished off the great night with some great whisky back in N+S's room
the next day we went for a day trip that took us to Glenfinnan, then castle Tioram which involved some engineering but thats another story ;)
again it was a great night, went out for dinner with Paul and Kristin then we all went back to their room for more great whisky and cards
sunday was a nice drive back, stopped off at a distillery and Killiecrankie and checked out Soldiers Leap, then i slept all the way back to Edinburgh
