I'll have one of these existential moments every now and then, where I just suddenly remember when it is I exist and what all I can do with the tools life has given me.
A few weeks ago, I was driving along the highway when, out of nowhere, it occurred to me that driving is a pretty incredible privilege, and how amazing it was that accidents didn't happen more often. Society deems us worthy to operate 3/4-ton moving hunks of metal and plastic, and says we can keep doing it as long as we stay inside the lanes and stop where we're supposed to stop. Is that not crazyballs?
Nice to know I'm not the only one who experiences moments like this.
