Last night, I attended my friend Bobbi's annual fundraiser Halloween party for homeless and abused animals. My dear friend Carol (we have been friends for over 30 years!) was my date....We had a really nice time, chatted with a lot of very nice people, and had a lot of wine...

Thanks, doll! How are you? This weekend was fun...and tiring. We went to the Chiller Theater Convention on Saturday. I bought some hard-to-find things on DVD, including a 1973 TV special hosted by David Bowie, in all his glittery, androgynous splendor. Sunday, we went to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, it was the last day. Halloween-themed. It was COLD, so I wore my DIAB coat and Cossack Hat...and fangs. I got a lot of compliments, and tub-thumped DIAB as much as I could! Pics to come...

Me,, I'm up and down to tell the truth,, Have the House now but still living on Froggies sofa til i get furniture and a bed and the like,, but hey.

Lifes certainly interesting at the minute,, but to be honest,, wouldn't change a thing about what I've done.

Why should you regret what you've done? I think it was very wise of you to do so, it was long overdue. Things will be a little weird for a bit, then you'll settle in.

Thank you again! Yeah, I guess I do look more at home in period duds than I do contemporary ones. A man at our table at the party rather, er, liked me....told me I was a sexy man. Well, my. er, hat size went up!

Thank you! Isnt Carol stunning? You had to see the heads turn when she walked by, living proof that you can look fabulous at 50. I will tell her. I'm going to try and aim for Whitby next fall, David and I would love to go!
