i can't think of anyone more appropriate to guest judge the season premiere of top chef. oh anthony, you sure know how to make a girl smile.

the fiance loves top chef; i however, can't watch it because it is too full of douches.

Is it just me or is Padma speaking up a lot more this year than last? She's showing a lot more personality in the bits they air than last year's voiceovers.

I think that Gail will be more vocal in coming weeks. It's tough getting a word in edgewise when you've got Bourdain on.

Have you seen Michael Ruhlman's blog (blog.ruhlman.com)? Bourdain occasionally posts articles there.

they're definitely editing more of her personality into this season than last. even if she was a mute, she's still better than billy joel's wife from the 1st season *shudder*

yes, i read ruhlman's blog. bourdain's guest blog entries are absolutely hilarious, especially the one where he ripped TVFN a new one :)

bourdain is hilarious. i cant wait to be done with boards so i can watch the season opener which will be re-aired approx 50x before the season is done

good luck with boards! the season opener is worth watching since it's supersized (+15 minutes).
